Community & Partnerships

Community at Dusit is woven into everything we do and everything we are, whether it is the members of our school community, our local community or even our global Cognita community. Staff, parents and students work together to build a close knit community where everyone is valued, recognised and empowered.

 

We believe a happy community is an empowered one.

We pride ourselves on our close-knit community and ensuring that we educate our students on the importance of being part of a wider community. Working closely with charities including, Rajvithi Girls school, Operation Smile, Solar Buddy and Second Chance Bangkok, our children, staff and parents work hand in hand to support, contribute and raise awareness for these great causes.

We are challenging our students of all ages to think about climate change and the environmental footprint we leave on our planet. We ask students to think about the ways in which we can improve the school environment and we want them to know that small measures can make a powerful change and that voices, no matter how small, can make a difference.

The PTG actively participates in school life and aims to foster a closer relationship between parents and teachers. Our PTG meets regularly giving all parents an opportunity to socialise and make new friends, an important factor when transitioning into a new school. Playing an active role in the Dusit community, parents and teachers work together not just on educational and welfare matters, but to help keep the diverse cultural traditions of our students and school alive.

There are many opportunities for parents to get involved in our school calendar, ranging from volunteering in the classroom or organising and fundraising school events. Our school has an open door policy where parents can meet teachers and our Senior Management Team regarding their child or school life whenever needed.
