At Dusit, we are actively committed to embedding a culture of well-being into all areas of our school. By placing our community’s happiness at the center of everything we do, everyone is a valued as an individual.

 

Well-being is important for us at Dusit because of the essential role it plays in creating happy and healthy individuals. By providing a whole school approach we are able to support our students in understanding the effects of their choices on their health and well-being, they are able to thrive beyond the classroom and into adulthood.

Well-being and Cognita

Well-being is the foundation of a Cognita Education and it is integral to our overall purpose of ‘Providing an inspiring world of education: building self-belief and empowering individuals to succeed’.

Cognita ensures that there is a focus on well-being and their actions come under these three Be Well areas:

  • Embed a culture of well-being that is living and breathing in our schools through a number of Be Well initiatives
  • Track and evaluate well-being across all our schools
  • Ensure availability of high-quality resources and guidance for all our schools

One key Be Well initiative is Global Be Well Day (GBWD), an annual event when all Cognita schools collapse the curriculum for one day to focus entirely on well-being.
