Primary

Welcome to Primary

In Primary, teaching and learning is focussed on an individualised and inclusive approach, exploring how children learn and tailoring our curriculum to accommodate all learning styles and abilities. Our close-knit community of staff, parents, and students work closely to ensure each child achieves their full potential. Our students develop a deep love of learning through a curriculum that encourages and supports key skills such as critical thinking, problem solving and creativity.
Our broad curriculum is based on the National Curriculum of England and Wales, adapted to the local context. The Dusit Values form the golden thread throughout all learning, ensuring our students grow to be well rounded individuals with a deeper understanding of the world around them.

Key Stage 1 (Years 1-2)
Carefully planned transitions ensure our children are ready for subject-based learning. Building on the strong foundation of Early Years, our key stage one curriculum fosters the development of essential skills through engaging hands-on learning.

Key Stage 2 (Years 3-6)
In key stage 2, children are encouraged to think independently and communicate with confidence. Learning becomes more in depth and interconnected as they explore cross curricular themes, collaborate with peers and deepen their understanding of the world.

Pathway to Secondary School

Upon completing Year 6 at St. Andrews Dusit, our young learners have many options for their next steps on their journey into secondary education.

As our sister Cognita school, we highly recommend St. Andrews S107, where the same learning philosophy and high standards continue.

In collaboration with the leadership team at St. Andrews S107, we offer a variety of transition activities designed to familiarise students with the secondary campus and to help them build relationships with future peers and teachers.

We also support families by providing a free shuttle bus service between the campuses for any Dusit students attending S107.

For more information about St. Andrews S107, please contact sukhumvit@standrews-schools.com.
