Early Years

Welcome to Early Years

We are a caring and inclusive early setting, offering education from Nursery to Reception (2-5 years old).

Our curriculum is based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), a legal framework from England that sets the standards of the learning, development and care of our young learners.

We provide holistic support, encouraging children to develop their curiosity and understanding and preparing them for learning in Primary.

What To Expect in Early Years

Children learn and develop at a faster rate from birth to five years old, than at any other time in their lives. Providing a successful start to school in Early Years, can help to set children up for success for their educational journey.

Child-Centred Framework
St. Andrews Dusit values each child as an individual. We have a low student-to-teacher ratio. Our staff are trained to closely observe and tailor learning to suit every child’s needs, interests, and learning style. This personalised approach allows all children to progress at their own pace, and ensures that children are engaged in the learning opportunities provided.

Communication and Social Skills
We take a nurturing approach to supporting children with their growing understanding and ability to listen and speak in English, as well as in their home language. This enables them to develop friendships and work together successfully.

Experiential and Exploration-Based Learning
We promote hands-on learning through diverse and exploratory experiences. Children enjoy carefully planned indoor and outdoor learning spaces which provide opportunities for children to question their understanding of the world and challenge them to try new skills.
