Primary

Primary are incredibly formative years, and a time when our pupils develop their skills and independence in a nurturing, supportive environment.

In Primary, students continue their educational journey through the UK National Curriculum in Key Stage 1 (5-7 years old) and Key Stage 2 (7-11 years old).

Ages 6-11 years

Our Dusit curriculum encompasses a rich blend of academic skills and rigor, whilst skillfully weaving in exciting opportunities for character and outdoor education. Our highly experienced teaching staff work with great pride to not only tailor the curriculum to meet all our children’s individual needs but to also ensure pupils are inspired, determined and empowered.

Through an inquiry based approach, driven by best global research and practice. Our curriculum and teaching is experiential, stimulating and engaging and has been developed to promote critical thinking, international mindedness and independence. A unique emphasis is placed on fostering each child’s curiosity and developing their learning to help them become compassionate, well-rounded learners.

We believe that putting a spotlight on pupil wellbeing, community projects and sustainability, gives our students all the necessary tools to embrace the rapidly changing world. Pupils are encouraged to become ‘21st Century Learners’, as we put a great deal of emphasis on:

  • Creativity
  • Collaboration
  • Communication
  • Critical Thinking

We ensure that students get the chance to see the impact of their efforts come to life, through meaningful, motivating project based learning. The curriculum is also carefully designed and regularly audited, to ensure students are active learners, working on solving genuine and real problems while becoming agents of positive change. Secondary school is focused on in KS2, preparing students for a seamless educational transition with specialist lessons from secondary teachers.
