Anna Ciezczyk

Before joining AIS in 2019, Anna taught in London, UK for 10 years and completed a Masters in Leading Innovation and Change in Education. She was involved in school wide initiatives that enhanced student learning outcomes and trained staff on a variety of pedagogical approaches.

Since joining AIS, Anna has become Head of Year 10 and worked in the Humanities department, delivering IB and IGCSE courses. She has played a key role in the successful implementation and management of the Learning Journal, led teacher training and designed resources to guide students through the reflection process .

Anna is a strong advocate for an holistic approach to education, with a student-centred pedagogy. By allowing students to take the lead and take risks in a supportive and safe environment, they can develop skills that go beyond the classroom and gain the confidence they need to take full advantage of life’s opportunities.
